She’s a bold beauty with a touch of nostalgic charm woven in. Warm reds and denim blues are the starring colors. I have been a little obsessed with quilts lately and I wanted to somehow incorporate that into this piece. Blending all things that I love, chinoiserie elements with a touch of Americana. As with all of my mixed media collage paintings, you will find layers of papers, fabrics and hand-painted textiles throughout providing unique dimension and texture that can only be appreciated on an original piece.
